Dr. Komkrisd Wongtimnoi graduated a bachelor degree in Petrochemicals and Polymeric Materials from the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University, Thailand (2002-2006). He made his Master degree on Materials Engineering at a Higher Engineering School named “École Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Limoges (ENSIL)”, France (2006-2008). He graduated his Ph.D. on Polymeric Materials and Composites by his research project on “Electroactive Polyurethane and Nanocomposites” from Institut Nationa des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) de Lyon, France (2008-2011). His Ph.D. research focused on characterization and analysis of the mechanisms of electromechanical couplings of thermoplastic polyurethane and on its nanocomposites with carbon black and carbon nanotubes. In 2012-2014, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow on MicroPlast project, an industrial collaborations project which focused on using of Liquid Crystalline Polymers (LCP) for microelectronics packaging. After then he came back to Thailand and, recently, he is a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at Burapha University.
